Meetby ("we", "our", "us") operates the scheduling platform at meetby.me. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, configure your scheduling page, or contact us for support.

Account Information

Full name and email address
Password (stored as a cryptographic hash — never in plain text)
Billing information (processed by Stripe; we do not store card numbers)

Scheduling Data

Calendar availability windows you configure
Booking details: guest name, email, and meeting time
Event type definitions, durations, and buffer settings

Technical Data

IP addresses and browser user-agent strings
Usage logs and error reports
Session cookies required for authentication

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, maintain, and improve the Meetby scheduling service
Process payments and send billing notifications
Deliver transactional emails (booking confirmations, reminders, cancellations)
Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
Respond to your support requests
Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

Stripe — for secure payment processing (governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy)
Supabase — our database and authentication infrastructure provider
Email delivery providers — solely for transactional notifications
Law enforcement or regulators — when required by applicable law, court order, or regulation

4. Data Retention

Account data is retained for the duration of your active subscription plus 90 days after termination.
Booking records are retained for 24 months.
Server access logs are retained for 30 days.
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting privacy@meetby.me.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data
Request erasure ("right to be forgotten") of your personal data
Object to or restrict certain processing activities
Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format
Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority

GDPR (EU/EEA residents): Our legal bases for processing are performance of the service contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) for account and booking operations, and legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) for security and fraud prevention. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

KVKK (Turkey residents): We process your personal data in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK). You may exercise your rights under Article 11 of KVKK by contacting us at privacy@meetby.me.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted database storage (AES-256), and strict access controls. No security measure is perfect; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.

7. Cookies

We use only strictly necessary session cookies for authentication. We do not deploy tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

Meetby is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or a prominent notice on the site at least 14 days before the change takes effect. The version number and "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflect the most recent revision.
